Whether you have vacation time to spend or not is really besides the point…you deserve one! Most likely, you haven’t had relaxing time off since the holidays, and with summer around the corner, it’s time to start getting into vacation mode. Grab the one you love and start packing, because here are three of our favorite vacation ideas for couples.
Hawaiian island of KauaiPotentially topping the list of best vacation spots for couples in the US is the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Unlike some of the more populated islands such as Oahu, Kauai is quieter and more serene than you can imagine. With beautiful beaches, snorkeling, less night-life and more opportunity for a romantic vacation, Kauai tops our list of vacation ideas for couples. And if you do want to mix work and pleasure, Hawaii has a huge waxing industry thanks to chronic sunshine… stop in a salon & spa to see how the islanders do it!
IcelandIceland looks like nothing you’ve ever seen before… and it’s definitely on our bucket list of places to visit. If you and your partner enjoy hiking, the outdoors, and sights that are other-worldly, then Iceland is calling your name! From hot springs like the Blue Lagoon to the Northern Lights and glaciers, there is something everywhere you look. Iceland or “The Land of Fire and Ice” is an adventure for sure, but it is also home to wonderful food, inspiring culture and art, and long summer days with near 24-hours of sunlight!
Road trip up the California CoastIn the competitive world of the salon and spa industry, sometimes a “vacation” can just mean a few days. Taking a road trip up the California coast can be done in just a couple of days, and you can pick where to stop and sight-see. Rent a cabin in the central coast, dine on just-caught seafood in Bodega Bay, or beach bum it in Long Beach, it’s really all up to the two of you. The coastline is one of the best vacation spots for couples in the US for many reasons, but it’s a chance to spend quality time together and see a lot in a short amount of time. We’ll admit that we’re biased since Berodin is based in California, but can you blame us?!
Playing devil’s advocate, any vacation can be expensive, but that just means you need to plan accordingly! Forbes suggests that flying is cheaper on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and points out that bundling vacations and clearing cookies on Internet searches can save money in the long run.
